Honoring the Past: Commemoration Visit to Jabana Genocide Memorial

Kigali, Rwanda – 2025

In a moment of reflection and unity, Toyota Rwanda, in partnership with Akagera Business Group, visited the Jabana Genocide Memorial to honor the memory of the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

The visit was attended by the Managing Directors of both companies, along with their respective staff members, who came together to pay tribute and stand in solemn remembrance and solidarity with the people of Rwanda.

This commemoration is a powerful reminder of our shared responsibility to remember the past, uphold the truth, and contribute to a future built on peace, dignity, and mutual respect.

As we reflect on this tragic chapter in Rwanda’s history, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting the nation’s journey of healing and resilience.
